Site Manager Needed in East Sussex

Location: Lewes

Contract type: Freelance

Start date: 14.02.2019

Duration: 6 months

Salary/Rate: £ competitive day rate

The Company

A well established regional contractor that specialise one off bespoke residential builds which consist of new build & refurbishment projects for private clients.

The Project

A design & build contract working on a new traditional build bespoke residential project worth £10 million.

The Role

As the number two Site Manager reporting into a Senior Site Manager you will be responsible for looking after the external packages, primarily bricklaying package.

* You will be responsible for quality control
* Managing the Sub - Contractors
* Tool box talks
* Site setup
* Implementing a programme of works
* RAMS & Health & Safety
* Site paperwork
* Reporting back to the Senior Site Manager
* Material control
* Programme reporting
* Reading & interpreting drawings

About You

* Candidates will need to have experience in new traditional build.
* The ideal candidate will come from a bricklaying background
* Good eye for detail.
* Be able to interpret construction drawings and designs.
* Strong man-management skills.
* Excellent organisational skills.
* Good level of IT literacy.
* CSCS Card.
* First Aid.
