We have a fantastic opportunity for a Site Manager to join the team of a family owned, main contractor working on new build and refurbishment projects up to £5m across a diverse range of projects in the commercial sector.

As well as a competitive salary and package, they offer ongoing support and development and access to work with a repeat business Client base.

Essential Experience:
We are recruiting for an experienced, hands on Site Manager who can take a project from start to completion, driving quality, programme and Health & Safety. Your background will need to demonstrate your history of managing projects from commencement through to completion. A good understanding of multi discipline trades and management of their quality and programme is essential.

Reporting in to a visiting Contracts Manager, duties will include:
Managing direct and sub-contract personnel on site
Ensuring H&S compliance levels are met
Liaising with the Quantity Surveyor on commercial matters
Input into progress reports and client team meetings
Revision of programme, advising the contracts Manager of any risk accordingly
Review of RAMS
Managing quality and programme of the build

Work is predominantly around the M1/M40 corridors from St Albans/Luton/Northants and across to Oxfordshire so would suit someone within a good commuting distance of these key ares.

CSCS essential
SMSTS preferred.
