A new Site Manager position has just arrived in Essex

* Location: Witham, Essex
* Contract type: Freelance
* Start date: ASAP
* Duration: 3 months
* Salary/Rate: up to £210 per day (dependant upon experience)

The Project

A £250k office reinstatement project with a 12 week programme, the job will involve stripping back and reinstating a large office block to a Cat A. The scope of works include painting, carpets, ceilings.

The Role

As Site Manager for the build you will report directly into an off site Project Manager. Your role will include:

* Overseeing trades and labour on site to ensure health and safety is adhered to and the project remains on track.
* Overseeing all subcontractors
* Maintaining quality at all times
* Overseeing the internals and finishing packages to the highest standards

About You

* Have the correct CITB and First Aid qualifications for the position.
* Be able to control subcontract packages.
* Good level of IT literacy in Microsoft Office packages.
* A strong working knowledge of concrete works
* A track record in a finishing capacity, overseeing internal works.
* Strong organisational skills with proven time management skills.
