Software Engineer - Banbury

A industry leading business in warehouse control systems are looking for a software engineer to join their growing team in Banbury. They are a multi-billion dollar corporation who provide fully automated warehouse management systems across the globe.

They currently have a small development team of 9 people who are continuously developing their core software platform with JEE. The role will involve designing and developing software solutions, work alongside project and technical engineers to integrate the software to the warehouse systems.

Other role responsibilities:



* Develop software using JavaEE
* Design and perform software tests
* Train customers and key users on installed applications
* Lead a value engineering approach to ensure cost efficient solutions
* Provide tech support to customers on-site

As the successful candidate you will have:



* Java, J2EE
* Knowledge of application servers (Glassfish)
* Knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, SQL)
* Google web toolkit is desired
* Good communication skills
* Customer focused
* Good problem solving skills
