Cloud Software Support Engineer - £25,000 to £35,000 + flexi working

A leading tech company based near Newport is looking for a Software Support Engineer to join their team and provide customer facing technical support. The business are looking for someone to sit between the software development & customer support team where you will be dealing with escalated issues & will be responsible for bug fixing and troubleshooting the bespoke platform.

Role & Responsibilities



* Providing technical support to teams within the organisation, and to external clients when required
* Keep the knowledge base of known issues up to date
* Identify and resolve technical issues using C# and SQL Server
* To contribute to the support and maintenance of database-driven ASP.NET/C# Web applications

Skills & Experience



* Experience with web systems development/support using Microsoft Visual Studio
* Experience in identifying faults in both C# code and SQL server
* Experience in Javascript, JQuery & asp.net is beneficial
* Application development on Windows platform using C#
* Excellent communication and report writing skills
