An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Speech and Language Therapist to join a specialized school in the Hassocks area.
A small yet thriving school for Autistic learners from ages 11-19 is looking to appoint a speech and language therapist (Band 5/6) to join their therapy team in September. All the learners in the school are on different levels of the Autistic spectrum with various needs.

The successful applicant must be registered with the Health Professions Council (HPC) and be a member of Royal College of Speech & Language Therapists (RCSLT).

Your role as a Speech and Language Therapist will include:

*Responsibility for delivering an effective and efficient Speech & Language Therapy service for the school.
*Participating in future developments and promoting the Speech & Language Therapy role in the school.
*Delivery of Communication assessments for new referrals and admissions and be responsible for their own case load.
*Maintaining the highest possible standards of care, education, therapy and training in accordance with the school's policy, thus enabling the learner to achieve their full potential.
*Working collaboratively with colleagues from all departments and with representatives from those external agencies with whom they come into contact as part of their duties.
