Are you an experienced teaching assistant?

Do you have what it takes to make a difference to young children's lives?

Are looking for a setting where you can inspire students?

A secondary school in the Brighton area is looking for a teaching assistant to work with students who have social, emotional and mental health challenges. You need to have the ability to build a relationship with the students to support them in accessing the curriculum.

Your role will require:
* An understanding of each students' health plan
* Liaising with the teacher to ensure all learners are supported
* Engaging with the learners to keep them on task
* Delivering 1:1 or small, group-focused lessons when required

The skills required:
* Good Maths and English skills
* Previous experience working with challenging behaviour is essential
* Patience and the flexibility to deal with changes that may present themselves due to the nature of the learners
* An ability to look after children's physical, social and emotional welfare
