Are you a hands-on person?
Do you like to get involved with activities that are based outdoors quite often?
What do you think about applying that energy to working with special needs children?

A brilliant and vibrant school in the East Grinstead area are looking for a teaching assistant to join their school after half term. You would be working to get all children involved and motivated to work to the best of their ability and enjoy their educational experience. Your role supporting these students is vital to their development. You will need your own means of transport due to the location of the school.

Your role will require:
* An understanding of each students' health plan
* Liaise with teacher to ensure all learners are supported
* Engage with the learners to keep them on task
* Assist during break duty, outings and class activities
* Deliver 1:1 or small group focused lessons when required

The skills required:
* Good Maths and English skills
* Previous experience working with Autistic learners (child or/and adults) is essential
* Patience and flexibility to deal with changes that may present themselves due to the nature of the learners
* Ability to look after children's physical, social and emotional welfare
