Are you looking for a permanent role for September in a school setting?

A learner support worker is required for a specialised school and college in the Seaford area. This particular setting is for KS1,2 and 3.
If you are a resilient character and have the skills to work with children who are on the autistic spectrum then this is the role for you.

Your responsibilities will include:
Support the pastoral needs of the learners.
Be an active part in setting the learning environment.
Assist students during class making sure they are on track.
Liaise with class teacher to ensure a smooth running class.
Supervision of children during their playtimes/lunch breaks.
Supporting learners on a 1:1 base and part of a small group in a range of activities through out the day

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and capabilities:
Be flexible in their approach to education
Willingness to learn and build relationships with learners
The ability to work as an individual and as a part of the team
Have an understanding of the students with emotional needs.
Be able to work with learners that have various learning difficulties
Be confident to support the lead in groups, in different educational subjects.
