Would you like the opportunity to work with students on a one-to-one basis to help them develop their study skills and learning strategies? Do you want to work with higher education institutions to share your expertise and enthusiasm?

We are looking for people with a background in SpLD and ASD support who can work with students across Liverpool. You will work on a weekly basis with students to build their independence and to help them achieve their goals.

We are looking for the right individuals to support our students to really make a difference. The role is set to start January 2019.

Providing individual support to students with Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD). You will help your students with:

* Building skills to help manage Spld-related disabilities
* Help with researching, structuring and reviewing assignments
* Building skills in time management, organisation and independent learning
* Supporting students to build their own independence

You will work closely with Randstad regarding the needs of individual students, and to ensure that any concerns are addressed in a timely manner. You will be expected to act professionally and maintain confidentiality within your role at all times, sharing all relevant information with Randstad to ensure the best possible service to your students.


You MUST hold a professional membership with one of the following:

* Professional Association for Teachers and Assessors (PATOSS)
* British Dyslexia Association (BDA)
* Dyslexia Guild
* The Association of Dyslexia Specialists in Higher Education (ADSHE)

Further skills/requirements include:

* Ability to identify ways of helping students to build on their learning strengths whilst maintaining a confidential and professional working relationship
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Accurate spelling and grammar
* Punctuality and reliability
