Randstad Education Liverpool is seeking SpLD AMBDA Teachers in the North Liverpool area to undertake supply bookings in a Mainstream Secondary school. The job will be term-time only, 2 days per week and is a great opportunity to work as part of a committed department. The role will involve supporting learners with their educational needs.

* Teaching qualification
* SpLD or AMBDA Qualification
* Experience of MLD (moderate learning difficulties)
* An ability to promote effective teaching and learning
* Enthusiasm commitment and flexibility
* Experience teaching in a similar role within the last 2 years
* Experience in delivering Literacy interventions and reading comprehensions
* A strong knowledge of working with SEN Pupils in a mainstream setting
* Excellent behaviour management skills and organisational skills
* A strong work ethic and a professional attitude

Responsibilities



* Planning, preparation & delivery of curriculum necessary subject matter
* Providing engaging and interactive lessons
* Communicating with parents and carers over pupil's progress and participating in departmental meetings, parent's evenings and whole school training events
* Participating in and organising extracurricular activities, such as outings, social activities and sporting events
* Preparing pupils for qualifications and external examinations
