A Staff Accountant is required on a contract basis to join an industry leading manufacturing business.

Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity? Do you have a background in accounting? Have you got experience of working in a fast paced manufacturing / production / assembly environment? If you are seeking an exciting challenge then this is the role for you!

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

* Member of the Business Support Reporting team responsible for analysing fixed overhead and variable costs of the IPSD business unit
* Support the business unit close process, including the calculation of accruals and prepayments as well as provision of detailed variance analysis
* Compile and distribute monthly reports to the business with associated analysis
* Support the consolidating of plans and forecasts for departmental spend
* Monthly input into corporate submissions and analysis
* Measurement of key operational performance metrics for inclusion in business scorecards
* Headcount reporting
* Adhoc project work

Qualifications -


* Educated to a degree level or qualified by experience
* Professional certification (ACA, CIMA,ACCA or equivalent)
* Previous management accounting experience
* First rate analytical skills, with the ability to summarise and present at a senior level
* The ability to demonstrate strong customer focus
* Effective communication skills at multiple levels
* Must be confident presenting financial information to Senior Management
* Initiative and innovation - ability to fit into a dynamic and fast moving Accounting team
* Experienced user of Excel and PowerPoint
* Ability to work in a fast paced environment is crucial
