A 'GOOD' nursing home in Bristol is looking for a Staff Nurse to join their team. This medium 70 bedded service is split into two nursing floors, staffed with a nurse on each floor and x6 cares. Specialising mainly in specialist Dementia nursing care includes a few residents with complex clinical care including Tracheostomy Care.

Location: Bristol, BS7

Salary: £18ph - £20ph (£36,000pa - £40,000pa)

Hours: Full-time or part-time, days or nights

Responsibilities

- Leading your team, you will be in charge of all day-to-day care activity in your designated unit

- Maintaining accurate records for residents whilst consistently delivering the very highest care standards

- You will take responsibility for assessing the physical, mental and social needs of residents

- Creating and developing strong links with local professional bodies and relatives

- Show commitment to the group and share their ethos of delivering a high standard of person-centered care

Requirements

- NMC registered, ideally RGN, however, RMN's and RNLD's with relevant skills will be considered

- Experience in a nursing home and with Dementia is desirable

- You will be committed to championing independence, choice, and dignity in the home

- Ability to communicate at all levels and build trusting relationships
