I am looking for a Staff Nurse for a large charity based healthcare provider who offer care, accommodation and support for the elderly across Britain.

The home is a specialist in care, championing dementia awareness and progressive clinical excellence in dementia care. They are a top 20 care home provider with 30 beds providing care for residential and nursing; the nursing unit is 15 bedded.

The day shift operates with 2 staff nurses, 6 care staff and a clinical manager alongside a nurse qualified home manager.

The night shift nurses work autonomously with a higher number of support staff due to the patient needs.

This provider is an accredited organisation recognised for its commitment to training; they also offer a pay increment to Staff Nurses who are willing to undertake an internally delivered coaching and mentorship programme and to support their core care practitioners alongside:

-Apprenticeship programme
-Full induction training
-Literacy and numeracy training
-Care training, including Mental Capacity Act and care plan training
-Dementia care/awareness qualifications
-Management skills workshops - paid training for mentorship
-Strategic leadership
-QCF Diploma Level 2 in Health and Social Care

A suitable candidate will hold:

* A Qualified Nursing Degree - General or Mental
* A minimum of 6 months care home experience
* A passion for care
