Staff Nurse (Improvement Team Nurse)

Location: Derby, DE5

Salary: £35,000pa

Hours: Full time, a variety of hours available

This opportunity is best suited to nurses who are looking for more than just job satisfaction. With this medium-sized private healthcare provider, you will initially receive a thorough 7-day induction and then the world is your oyster, with 90% of the senior team being from internal promotions.

It's not your average Staff Nurse post. This team is looking for support for one of their services to; understand the root cause of the issues, develop a plan and then work closely to support the existing team in the service to improve the standards.

This post is for one of their Derby services that provides care to residents with; Neuro-disability, Brain Injury and Stroke, Mental Health and Complex Dementia. 20 beds across two units and this is staffed with x1 and x9 carers as well as having Nursing Management Support.

Responsibilities



* Ambassador for the company vision, and facilitate its understanding together with the company's aims, objectives, and philosophy.
* Lead the team from a clinical perspective working closely with the Improvement Team Manager.
* Assist the Improvement Team Manager in undergoing an analysis of the issues in the service.
* Work alongside the home's Clinical Nurse Manager, Unit Managers, and Nurses to understand the issues, mentor and improve quality & performance.


Requirements



* NMC registered; RGN, RMN or RNLD
* Flexible attitude
* Able to develop strong relationships
