Staff Nurse

Location: Reading, RG1

Salary: £16.56ph (Up £41,333pa) - Rising after probation

Hours: Full Time or Part Time - Days or Nights

Do you want to work with a national care home provider with an outstanding reputation within the private sector? We are leading the search for a Staff Nurse in Reading, for a home that specialises in the provision of high-quality nursing care.

Our client runs a purpose-built modern care home that offers high-quality care and support in a welcoming and secure environment for younger adults with a variety of care needs, including Physical Disabilities, Huntington's, brain injuries and learning disabilities. The 70-bedded home is split into 3 manageable floors and is well staffed with both nurses and support staff, as well as a clinical management team.

Responsibilities:



* Complex assessments and pre-assessments of residents coming onto your unit
* Family liaison
* Medication rounds
* Care planning, monitoring and implementing agreed measures
* Delivering clinical advice and guidance
* Supporting new staff on your unit
* Delegating tasks to care staff on your shift


Requirements



* NMC registered; RGN, RMN or RNLD
* Experience in a nursing home (desirable)
* A commitment to championing independence, choice, and dignity in the home
* An ability to communicate at all levels and build trusting relationships
