Staff Nurse

Location: Stoke-on-Trent, ST6

Hours: Days or Nights, Full or Part Time

Salary: £17ph (£42,432pa)

This post is for a Stoke-on-Trent service that provides care to residents with neuro-disabilities, brain injuries & stroke, mental ill-health and complex dementia. 60 beds are split into six 10-bed units, each of which is staffed with 1 nurse and 5 carers as well as Nursing Management support.

Responsibilities

- Aid in the training of new care assistants and nurses

- Supervise your designated unit, ensuring the shifts run smoothly

- Promote independence and dignity throughout everyday life

- Assess care needs and developing person-centred care plans

- Communicate with an MDT, service users and families

Requirements

- NMC registered, either RGN, RMN or RNLD

- A flexible attitude

- The ability to develop strong relationships
