This post is for one of their medium 20 bedded service in Sutton-in-Ashfield that provides care to residents with; neuro-disability, brain injury & stroke and mental ill-health. This service is split into two small manageable units; your role will be to support the Unit Manager of you designated unit in all nursing duties.

Staff Nurse

Location: Sutton in Ashfield, NG17

Hours: Full-time or Part-time, days or nights

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000pa - Pay review after a successful probation

Responsibilities

- Aid in the training of new care assistants and nurses
- Supervise your designated unit, ensuring the shift runs smoothly
- Promote independence and dignity throughout everyday life
- Assessing care needs and developing person-centered care plans
- Communicating with an MDT, also service users and families

Requirements

- NMC registered; RGN, RMN or RNLD
- Experience in a similar environment is desirable
- Able to develop strong relationships with residents and staff
