We are looking for a motivated and professional degree educated Account Manager with experience winning, growing & retaining B2B accounts to join a global leader in Financial Business Intelligence. This exciting newly created role will offer a clear path of progression, an excellent starting salary, potential travel/ possible relocation to NYC and excellent bonus potential!

This role will be idea for someone with 3+ years of account management, retention/renewal,account developing, client relationship management, sales or client services experience and who also has a confident, well spoken phone manner. An interest or experience in the financial services, funds or investment sector would also be an asset. While the role is not new business, there will be a focus on growing and mapping active accounts, along with increasing engagement.

The successful candidate will work with an established client base, supporting the users/clients with demonstrations and training. The Account Manager will also be targeted on the growing and mapping of accounts, identify upgrade opportunities - growing the UK portfolio.

Key responsibilities for the role include:

*Achieving renewal targets from existing clients within the product group by maintaining relationships, training clients, establishing the value of our services, up-selling and renewing contracts.
*New Business - Bringing new clients on board or providing new products to your existing client base.
*sourcing and closing new business opportunities for the organisation through new business means such as cold calling, emailing and setting up meetings.
*Managing and developing your revenue stream to establish a pipeline
*Managing and developing your revenue stream through established business opportunities
*Developing your understanding of BI products, our competitors and clients to enable maximised sales and revenue generation.

Ideal candidate will possess the following:

*Previous experience in B2B sales/desire to enter into B2B sales, new business, account management and retention/renewals
*Consultative B2B sales/retentions/account management experience would be an advantage
*Previous sales experience working within the financial services market, specifically with investment organizations would be an advantage
*Strong presentation, communication, negotiation and closing skills
*Highly developed business acumen and the ability to understand the wider issues of the industry
*The ability to identify new revenue opportunities and maximise product potential
