Are you an experienced Structural Engineer seeking your next contract in Bristol?

My client has an immediate opportunity for a Structural Engineer to plan and monitor various programs, providing ideas and innovation, ensuring they are applied to the project.

The successful applicant will be responsible for providing professional surveying services and project management, particularly those involving structural, dimensional and topographical surveys and design solution. You will be responsible for ensuring work is carried out to the highest quality and achieves value for money.

Responsibilities:



* Achieve the projects objectives using defined schedules, costs and performance parameters.
* Carry out site inspections and structural surveys, and provide detailed reports, assessments and designed solutions, when required.
* Define the scope of projects and programmes
* Maintain excellent levels of communication with customers from end to end of the service, project or programme.
* Ensure health and safety and CDM regs responsibilities are met by in house and external contractors

Responsibilities:



* A degree in structural engineering or a equivalent professional qualification, diploma or HNC equivalent qualification in a construction field.
* Corporate membership of the institution of structural engineers or substantial post qualification experience demonstrating relevant skill
* Able to demonstrate significant relevant knowledge of complex structures and/or experience of equalities and diversity issues.
* Expert level of knowledge of the different types of construction of residential buildings, including multi-storey blocks, their potential defects and the investigation and implementation of solutions.
