job description

Major renowned global multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy have a rare opportunity for a buildings structural design engineer to join their London team. Working from their plush London offices you will be involved in the design of high profile projects in a variety of overseas and UK locations. Projects are often high rise multi-million pound developments involving top architects. The structures team in London is currently small but there is a lot of liaison with structural teams in other offices and the opportunity to work with world famous names.

You should be an intermediate level/project level structural designer, experienced enough to work unsupervised and run your own parts of projects with assistance from team leader. Ideally you will be nearing Chartership or recently Chartered. You should have a Masters degree from a reputable University such as Imperial, UCL or Cambridge. Good design and analysis skills are essential, ideally use of ETABS and SAP 2000 and you will preferably have experience of working on tall buildings projects. Large project experience is essential.
