job description

Exciting new role!

Have you got a strong background in highways structures and design? Are you looking for a Senior Engineering role? Are you based within daily travel of Leeds?

Our client are working on a major scheme where they are needing Structures Inspector/Engineer to work with their existing and new structures, doing maintenance, QA and reporting work on these. Would suit someone with a strong highways structures background, engineering and some clerk of works/inspection experience.

The ideal candidate will be strong on paperwork and attention to detail, working with senior managment teams on civils projects and specifically for roads and highways work. Will have CEng or IEng or be working towards one or the other.

The role will entail:

*

* Report to the Project Manager
* Working within a team but often autonomously
* Produce relevant method statements, risk assessments and quality inspection plans in good time to allow the works to progress to program
* Site inspections of various highways structures/bridges
* Ensuring that QA work and reports are completed in a timely fashion
* Some working from heights

This is an excellent opportunity for long term work on highways so please apply online with CV if interested and if you have the relevant skills for this role. Or find me on LinkedIn, Damian Aston (Randstad)
