Would you relish the opportunity to be involved in one of the regions flagship Civil Engineering Projects?

Due to a significant project award, our award winning Civil Engineering & Infrastructure Client is seeking to supplement it's Operations team with the appointment of a Sub Agent.

The successful candidate will join the Project Team on a £65m Infrastructure Scheme which is delivering a major new Bypass to alleviate congestion, promote growth and enhance the inner-city environment. The programme runs through to mid 2020 and includes a diverse range of project elements including carriageways, roundabouts, bridges, underpasses and rail interface.

Key Responsibilities:

* Delivery of projects from across the full lifecycle, from contract award to issue of defects certificate
* Delivery of highest levels of standards and service
* Ensuring commercial return and profitability on projects
* Maintain and manage company QHSE standards
* Interface, maintain and develop relationships with all Project Stakeholders
* Ensure that processes and workload is carried out to contract standards
* Ensure design and approvals are controlled
* Oversee the day to day construction process
* Attend progress meetings with Project Manager, Client and Supply Chain
* Support the procurement of suppliers and subcontractors

Previous experience / qualifications:

* Demonstrable experience in Highways Projects (essential)
* Experience and knowledge of Structures Projects (highly desirable)
* Experience working for Main Contractor or Large Regional Contractor
* Solid understanding of commercial, procurement, programming and QHSE processes
