I am looking to recruit a supply teacher for a local village school in St Albans. You will be needed on a part-time basis to cover sickness and PPA time. If you have experience teaching within KS1 or KS2 and you are available for day to day supply work, please apply now. The students are well behaved and known in the county to be high achievers. You will not be required to do any planning, however you will be responsible for marking throughout the day.

Responsibilities:Ensure effective teaching of whole classes, groups and individuals, whilst establishing high expectations of behaviour and attainment, so that teaching objectives are metUnderstand and comprehend how national, local comparative and school data, including National Curriculum test data can be used in professional and school developmentProvide clear structures when planning lessons and for sequences of lessons, which maintain pace, motivation and challengeHave knowledge of and always stay updated with the Curriculum guidance for Key Stage 2 , especially in the area of KS2 SATs
