If you have at least six month experience in the care industry and you thrive on improving the lives of others, we have just the roles for you!

We are working with a major care provider in Exeter that supports young people with visual impairment and complex needs. This is a lovely setting to work within, working as part of a friendly team, you will be supporting young adults through their daily lives, encouraging them to get the best out of each day.

Working with Randstad Care, you can pick and choose when you work, meaning you can fit work in around your family and other commitments. Work on offer includes day shifts (0700-1630), afternoon/evening shifts (1500/1530 - 2200) and weekends.

We are looking for people with at least 6 months professional care experience, NVQ qualifications in Health and Social Care are advantageous but not essential. You should be caring, have excellent communication skills and be willing to go the extra mile to help others.


Job Responsibilities:

As a support worker, you will be supporting service users to get the best out of everyday whilst promoting independence.

Duties include:

* Promoting independence to service users

* Effectively communicating with all clients

* Supporting service users with day to day activities

* Remaining organised and professional under pressurised circumstances

* Completing all care plans effectively

* Implement effective and creative approaches to problem-solving

* Personal care
