job description

Do you want to work just 2 nights a week? Do you want all the benefits of a permanent job? Do you have all the requirements listed at the bottom of this advert? Wait before you scroll down- have a read, because the next 13 seconds could change your life...

This specialist residential service for adults with complex needs and disabilities is situated within walking distance of the local shops and the bus stop in Horndean, with ease of access to further facilities like our football club. On the doorstep of the A3, large cities are a short drive away, like London, Southampton and beyond.

The residents are all active and love going out, so this is the perfect opportunity for you to combine your caring nature with your sense of adventure- during the day if there's a big game or event, you'll be welcome to come up with ideas for days and trips out. During night shifts, you'd find ample entertainment in our games rooms.

Aside from days out, there's plenty to do in the home as well! Visualise your potential new workplace- 4 bedrooms (1 on the ground floor); 3 upstairs en-suites, a large dining area and a back garden to lounge in on hot Summer days! There's also plenty of space for meeting with families and playing outdoor games with the residents.

You'd also benefit from supportive colleagues with a similar passion for helping others and a manager who's progressed from within the organisation. Please keep reading...

What are the benefits?

* Full training provided - feel secure that you're being looked after, too

What are your responsibilities?

* Promoting a healthy lifestyle through appropriately stimulating activities

* Some care experience
* Availability to work 2 nights a week (8pm to 8am)
