Are you a hard-working Support Worker fed up with a lack of permanent, full-time care jobs in Leyland area? We welcome applications from anybody who has a background supporting adults with complex learning disabilities or mental health needs.

This full-time, permanent vacancy is based in a 6-bedded residential service on a quiet housing estate in Leyland, which currently provides support to adults who have a learning disability. - Epilepsy

We are now looking for positive and confident individuals who had experience with challenging learning disabilities or mental health needs. You must have a driving licence and be able to work shift patterns. In return for your commitment and experience, we offer the following benefits:

Benefits
- Fantastic rate of pay of £8.00 per hour
- Guaranteed, contracted hours (at least 36 per week)
- Ongoing weekly support and specialist training
- The peace of mind that you are working in a setting rated 'Good' by CQC

Responsibilities
- Creating personal programmes of support and progression designed to meet the individual's needs and aspirations
- Keeping service users safe from potentially harmful behaviours
- Creating a stable and professional, yet warm environment

Requirements
- Experience with learning disabilities
- A confident, positive and extroverted character
- Able to work long day shift patterns
- Own transport desirable as public transport in the area is limited
