Are you a hard-working Support Worker fed up with a lack of permanent, full-time care jobs in Preston area? We welcome applications from anybody who has a background supporting adults with complex learning disabilities or mental health needs.

These full-time, permanent vacancies are based within the Preston area which currently provides support to adults who have learning disabilities and mental health needs.

- Autistic Spectrum Disorders

- Learning disabilities
- Prader-Willi Syndrome
- Personality Disorders

The homes each have a passionate and dynamic manager who has achieved some fantastic results with their staff team and residents, and you can feel confident in being fully supported to develop the home to its maximum potential!

We are now looking for positive and confident individuals who had experience with challenging learning disabilities or mental health needs. You must have a driving licence and be able to work shift patterns. In return for your commitment and experience, we offer the following benefits:

- Fantastic rate of pay of £8-8.30 per hour
- Guaranteed, contracted hours (at least 36 per week)
- Ongoing weekly support and specialist training in the service from a behavioural support expert
- A supportive and driven Manager who really cares about the home, team and residents

Responsibilities
- Creating personal programmes of support and progression designed to meet the individual's needs and aspirations
- Keeping service users safe from potentially harmful behaviours
- Creating a stable and professional, yet warm environment

Requirements
- EITHER experience with challenging learning disabilities OR mental health needs (or both!)
- A confident, positive and extroverted character
- Able to work flexible on shift patterns including earlies, lates, and nights
- Full driving licence which has been clean for the last 3 years
