You will be caring for adults with Learning disabilities and early onset Dementia, being a valuable part of their day.

Finally, have you ever heard of a care role that is Monday to Friday 09:00-15:00? With this in mind, it is a fantastic opportunity for someone with commitments. £9 an hour.

Job Purpose -



* Working 1-1 with someone with early onset Dementia
* Supporting and engaging your 1-1 client with activities throughout the day
* Help with day to day duties such as meal prep, taking the time to listen and care
* Some administration of medication
* The client requires support with mobility
* Encourage their independence and promote an active healthy lifestyle
* Building bonds with the service users to ensure ongoing, personal centred quality of care
* To grow and develop as a support worker working alongside a fantastic team

Experience -



* Experience with Dementia preferred
* Moving and Handling training preferred but can be provided if not
* Previous experience with challenging behaviour preferred but not necessary
