Our client provides care to around 900 adults in a variety of services across Somerset. Their aim is to support their residents to live ordinary, fulfilling lives as active members of their local community, they keep their residents at the hear of everything they do. They offer residential care homes, supported living, respite care as well as domiciliary care. We work with a number of their services in Yeovil, providing support workers to compliment their own teams. You could be out and about in the community with a resident, such as a trip into town, to the bank or simply out for a coffee, or you could be helping with everyday activities in the home.


Job Responsibilities:
Duties will include supporting service users to lead a fulfilling life.
You will be required to perform personal care, the level of person care required will vary from home to home.
You will also be asked to help with cooking and general household duties.

Requirements:

Experience in the care sector is essential. Ideally you will have experience of working with adults with learning disabilities but this is not essential, as care workers with experience in other sectors have relevant and transferable skills. Qualifications in Health and Social Care are helpful but not essential. You should be caring, empathetic, friendly and have a genuine desire to improve the lives of others.

A variety of shift are available every week.
Early shifts - 0700/0800-1400/1500
Late shifts - 1400/1500 - 2100/2200
Long shifts - 0700 - 2200
Sleep-in nights
Waking nights
