Company Overview

Are you looking to work with a growing and successful Local Authority in the North East? If so, they are looking to recruit an experienced Supportive Housing Officer to manage a sheltered accommodation scheme. This is a temporary contract starting ASAP which will be ongoing for a minimum period of a couple of months. An Enhanced or Basic DBS is mandatory for this post - or will have to be willing to get one if successful.

Your Package

- Monday to Friday
- 37 hours
- £9 - £11

Your Responsibilities

- Managing a scheme for sheltered accommodation, this includes booking in visitors, arranging workshops for residents, health and safety procedures, viewings information and any issues
- Providing residents with advice and support as well as liaising with any other professional bodies where appropriate
- Supervising communal areas and the schemes facilities
- Maintaining up to date records on the system
- This is a non-exhaustive list of duties

Your Skills/ Experienced

- Must have an Enhanced or Basic DBS (or willing to get one if successful)
- Must be experienced as you will have responsibility over the scheme
