Are you an experienced Surveyor? Experience working for local authority? Then I have the perfect opportunity for you!

An amazing role has become available for local authority. They are seeking an experienced and ambitious Surveyor to be based in their repairs and maintenance department and to provide a professional surveying service.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



* Undertake site inspections and assessments of level of quality
* Outline any issues, concerns and actions to be taken
* Manage and control sub-contractor payments and correspondence

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS AND KNOWLEDGE:



* Relevant post qualification experience is essential
* Must hold an appropriate degree and/or a relevant professional qualification and provide evidence of continuing professional development.
* Knowledge of equalities & diversity issues.
* Experience in producing accurate technical statements, reports and correspondence on complex matters
* Ability to negotiate effectively
* Experience of producing technical reports for a variety of audiences
* Excellent IT skills
* Excellent communication skills
* Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
