I am currently recruiting for a teacher to cover all years for a specialist SEN school in Cambridge. The role would involve two days a week teaching and three days a week working in the position of SENCO. This is a great role for someone who is looking to expand their knowledge outside of the classroom.
Your responsibilities will include:Planning, preparing and delivering engaging lessonsAssisting students during class making sure they are on trackLiaising with support staff to ensure a smooth running classEnabling learners to access the curriculumSupporting the pastoral needs of the learnersBeing an active part in setting the learning environmentUsing your interests to engage students in learning
An ideal candidate may possess the following skills and capabilities:A teaching qualificationThe ability to work with learners that have various learning difficultiesA willingness to learn and build relationships with learnersConfidence to support the lead in groups, in different educational subjectsThe ability to work as an individual and as a part of the teamFlexibility in your approach to education
