September 2018

Are you a qualified Science teacher looking to work in a school where a team ethos is key to moving the department forward? If so, this position in a forward thinking, good school, is for you! The school are happy to negotiate your salary and offer substantial increases on your current scale for the right candidate.

The School:

My client is a Trust school that is very different to other schools because it enjoys the direct influence and close working relationship with a number of key Trust Partners. Many of these organisations offer extensive curriculum opportunities, professional mentoring for students and career pathways to ensure the students are lifelong learners.

They are looking for a general Science teaher who is a model of good practice but most importantly, is passionate about the development of the teaching of Science across the school and within the curriculum. Their vision is that the teaching of Science is the highest quality across the school and is also interwoven throughout all areas of the curriculum so that our children leave the School with Science skills, ready for life.

Responsibilities:

The role will be full time with release time as required to support, model and coach staff within the school.

Requirements:

You will also be passionate about developing an Science culture and be proactive in supporting the Science team on current action research to inform best practice. You must have QTS. This is an exciting role within the school and the Trust which we see as developing and evolving over the academic year.
