Are you currently a Teaching assistant looking for teaching experience? Would you prefer to learn a specialised curriculum? Are you available now?


With training days and practical experiences, you will support the main teacher to understand how to produce effective lesson plans for students with Autism and speech and language needs using the CABAS curriculum. In addition to this you will work towards several qualifications in order to gain a specialised qualification in applied behaviour analysis.

Job responsibilities:
- Complete workbooks and any theoretical coursework on the CABAS curriculum
- To participate in lectures and work experience to ensure that all techniques and skills can be applied to your classroom.
- Work alongside students to motivate them to participate in all sessions
- Share information of pupil progress to main teacher or line manager
- Work as a member of the team to accommodate student's social, emotional and wellbeing.
- Help students to build key life skills, communication and effective relationships with peers and staff.


Key Skills:
- Must have experience of SEN education or experience running sessions
- Understanding of Special educational needs
- Experience in other sectors, Nursing, Student support or support worker roles.
- Must have own means of transport
