Are you looking for a few teaching hours a week?
Are you passionate about tutoring students?
Is your ideal role to help support students with areas that they struggle with?

I am looking to recruit a qualified teacher who wants to do some tutoring sessions across the Brighton area. The role will involve going to a student's school and helping him/her with core subjects. Most sessions are 2 hours a week but there are several students in the surrounding area that could all be tutored on one day which frees you up for the rest of the week.
This role is ideal for someone who doesn't want to stay out of teaching but doesn't want to do full days.

Your role will include
- Tutoring secondary students
- Planning and preparing 1:1 lessons
- Being resilient and having the patience to meet the students needs
- Teaching core subject such as Maths, English and/or Science to a KS3 or KS4 level

Skills needed for this role
- QTS is essential
- Strong ability to teach science or maths and/or English
- Ability to plan and deliver 1:1 lessons
- Keep record of the student's attainment to review termly
- Experience working with challenging behaviour is essential
