Can you build good relationships with students? Can you create fun and interesting lessons? Are you available in January?


Then do we have the role for you?


With your effective and creative teachings, you will work alongside several students to access the national curriculum for students with social and emotional needs. With individual lesson plans, each student will follow the practical and interactive interventions that you have put in place, to help them understand their triggers and how to overcome them. In addition, you will be the main point of call for any unanswered questions so be prepared!

Job responsibilities:
- Ensure that every student meets the needs of their individual learning plans
- Devising schemes of work which facilitate the curriculum and facilties
- Be flexible when working with each students social and emotional needs
- Ensure that each student can develop and enhance their life skills
- Ensure that the teaching assistant has the correct guidance to support students


Key Skills:
- QTS or PGCE
- Effective communicator
- Knowledge of SEN/ ASD and SEMH
- Able to effectively manage classroom and teaching staff
- Own means of transport
