Are you an Interventions teacher with an English specialism?

Can you bring out the best in all children?

Have you experience of supporting children through either the 11+ exams and / or the independent school entrance exams?

Have you experience of delivering interventions across upper Key Stage 2 in a way to encourage children of all abilities to succeed?

This job has arisen to cover a maternity leave. The role is to provide English booster lessons to small groups in Years 5 and 6.

* You will be responsible for taking a number of English intervention groups.
* Planning and delivering English lessons for children of all abilities.
* Boosting the academic performance of the children.
* Supporting children through independent school entrance exams.
* Working with children sitting the 11+ grammar school tests.
* Communicating with parents and carers over pupils' progress.
* Participating in departmental meetings, parents evenings and whole school training events.
