Are you a qualified teacher and looking for part-time work? Can you engage and improve young people's learning and development? Do you have a passion for improving the lives of young people with SEN and/or physical disabilities?

A specialised school near Tunbridge Wells are looking a part-time English and Maths teacher to work with young people who have physical disabilities and associated learning difficulties. You will be working with your students in accordance to their individual learning plans and enabling them to access the curriculum through interactive and practical teaching.

Your responsibilities will include:
-Working on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
-Working alongside speech and language therapists and communication assistants to support students' communication
-Planning lessons and marking work
-Striving to meet your pupil's targets
-Tailoring learning techniques to individual learners
-Providing feedback to students on progress and development

An ideal candidate may possess the following skills and capabilities:
-Be able to build relationships with children and adults
-Be flexible and creative in your approach to learning techniques.
-Ability to teach KS2/KS3 children
-Be able to teach a variety of subjects with a focus on Maths and English
-Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
