Job responsibilities:
* Keep students engaged and focused
* To implement all school policies
* Create a fun learning environment
* Act as a good role model for students and gain respect and commitment from them
* Challenge pupils and motivate them to reinforce self-esteem
* Building on key life skills and boosting confidence
* Ensure all pupils have an equal opportunity to access education
* Attend training sessions on a weekly basis
* Make sure the classroom is health and safety enabled
* Understand the social and emotional needs of each student and flex your teaching style to suit
* Assign jobs to Teaching assistants in the classroom
* Working with Teaching assistant to put into place E.H.C.P
* Plan and develop lesson plans for all students
* Build good relationships with parents/carers and work together to support student

Ideal candidates will have the following:
* Must have QTS/QTLS/PGCE qualification
* Must have teaching experience in Mainstream and SEN Education
* Experience with ASD/ SEMH/ EBD/ SLD/ MLD/ PMLD/Behaviour and speech and language difficulties
* Committed to safeguarding
* Resilient and thick-skinned
* Interest in working with young people with challenging behaviour
* Self-confidence and initiative
