Teacher/Instructor of Woodwork
September - December 2018 initially
Nottingham

Are you a Woodwork/DT specialist looking for a new opportunity to teach? Or could you be someone looking for a new challenge/career path?

A KS4 alternative provision are looking to appoint a Teacher/Instructor of Woodwork to start in the new academic year. The full time post is from September to December initially with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate

This alternative academy which is situated in the centre of Nottingham caters for Year 10 and 11 students who have been temporarily or permanently excluded from mainstream education generally for behaviour. They are based in a grade 2 listed building and offer students a range of courses. The academy was rated 'Outstanding' in its latest Ofsted report and prides itself on its reputation for success.

Responsibilities will include:

* Preparing lessons in line with the curriculum as well as adding their own creativity to create unique learning styles
* Engaging students and building positive relationships

* Managing behaviour in line with the schools policy
* Ensure the safety and safeguarding of the children at all times whilst within the classroom or school premises.
