The school needs someone to provide skilled support for learners with severe learning, behavioural, communication, social, sensory and or physical disabilities. They have a newly-built building with excellent facilities that you will have the privilege of using on a day-to-day basis, including supportive swings, sensory rooms and a private swimming pool!

Your responsibilities:
* Supporting with aspects of personal care and attending to children's social and welfare needs
* Understanding specific learning needs and applying these in 1:1 and group sessions
* Supporting learners in their use of ICT, helping them to become independent in the classroom
* Supporting the teacher with IEP and planning/evaluation activities
* Helping to write reports and records when required
* Physically assisting learners with activities such as swimming and PE
* Taking learners out on educational visits

Ideal candidates for the school will have the following:
* The ability to care for individuals aged between 3-19
* A commitment to safeguarding
* Previous experience in a mainstream or special education context
* A clean driving licence
* Self confidence and initiative
* A great personality, energy and sense of humour
