An outstanding school in the Brighton area is looking for a teaching assistant who can offer continuity and support to students in their day to day school life. Your role will include working with the students to ensure they are safe and are able to work on accessing the curriculum to reach their full potential.

Your role will include:
Guiding students during their school day and outdoor activities
Supporting Autistic learners enabling them to access the curriculum
Assessing students on their development by liaising with the teacher

Skills required for this role
Experience in working with SEN learners (children/adults)
An understanding of how to work with Autistic learners
The ability to de-escalate a challenging situation
