We are looking for a passionate and engaging Teaching Assistant to work with young people with social, emotional and behavioural needs. These students need support in accessing the academic curriculum as well as having somebody they feel confident confiding in. The school near Clacton uses therapeutic techniques such as drama therapy, art therapy and counselling to improve the behaviour of the students and help them become confident and independent individuals.

-Providing learning support to students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups

An ideal candidate may possess the following skills and capabilities:
-Have an understanding of SEN/EBD
-Experience working with young people aged 4-19
-Good numeracy and literacy skills
-Be able to self-reflect and reflect on the progress of your pupils
