Understanding how to support students with Autism and speech and language needs will be the main focus of your day. This will include accompanying students during specialised therapy sessions including forest school, Makaton training and outdoor educational schemes.

Job responsibilities:
- Ensure that each student can develop their skills and knowledge in each subject
- Attend meetings and extra training days
- Participate in all activities throughout the day
- Be flexible to work with students from KS1- college level
- Provide support to the main teacher in the classroom and for outdoor activities
- Ensure that the school ethos is embraced throughout each lesson.


Key requirements:
- Own means of transport (public transport cannot be accessed here)
- Experience of SEN, Education or Care
- A willingness to learn new skills
