This role has an extensive practical curriculum alongside few theoretical sessions which are based outside for students to help learn new skills. For example: Learning maths on a large clock on the playground to help students visualise where the hands need to be placed for half hours and quarter past. In addition, you will work alongside each student to ensure that they are engaged and motivated to help students to gain their potential and overcome any insecurities they may face about different subjects.

Job responsibilities:
- Assist main teacher to progress students learning
- Participate in all physical and Theoretical activities
- Help students build self esteem and confidence
- Motivate students to take part in all lessons


Key skills:
- Have a deep understanding of students with Autism and speech and language needs.
- Experience with working with special educational needs
- Experience in : youth worker and SEN educational roles
- Have own means of transport (as this school cannot be accessed by public transport)
