Are you built for the outdoors? Would you prefer a practical curriculum? Have you had experience working alongside students with complex needs?

Horse-riding, Pottery, Music therapy, Gardening, wood work and creative play will be on the agenda for your educational day. You will work alongside several practitioners to help students overcome their barriers to learning and understand how to creatively learn skills through a practical curriculum. In addition, this school have a specialised curriculum and take pride in finding alternative ways to help students socially, emotionally and visually to engage with peers and staff.

Job responsibilities:
- To work alongside the main teacher to assist with any creativity session in the classroom
- Work with one to one and group sessions in practical sessions
- Participate in all activities
- Observe and feedback to main teacher about the progress made in each session
- Help students to manage their feeling and use rewards effectively


Key Skills:
- Have a deep understanding of Special educational needs
- Own means of Transport (as you will not be able to access this placement by public services)
- Experience in : Support worker, Youth worker, SEN education and Community officer roles
- Open to training opportunities
