This "Good" Ofsted rated school in the heart of Crawley are wanting to add someone with confidence to their sparkling Primary Team. This school are looking for a flexible and engaging member of staff who can demonstrate experience supporting the class teacher inside and outside of classroom lessons. The ideal candidate will have a passion for making sure that every child in the class has the opportunity to reach their potential whilst encouraging continued emotional progress. The ideal candidate will align themselves with the schools overall vision, ensuring all members of the community are happy, confident, resilient and successful learners. The school are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to become an active part of their current Primary team from the end of January initially until the end of the term, with the potential to become permanent.

Key Responsibilities:
* Helping the Teacher to set up and deliver creative lessons
* Supporting children in the classroom
* Leading small groups in activities
* Assisting with forest schools
* Contributing to each child's academic and emotional growth
* Ensuring clear communication between teaching staff


Requirements:
Please note that candidates who do not meet the essential criteria for this role will not be considered.


Essential:
* Relevant experience within a UK Primary School
* 2 references from the last 5 years (1 must be a full child-based safeguarding reference)
* Knowledge of EY and KS1 curriculum

Desired:
* An up-to-date DBS on the update service
* A job history for the last 10 years
