Working with the main teacher and therapy staff you will ensure that each student at this specialised SEN school can be focused and progress to the next level of learning. In addition, you will also be responsible for taking over lessons in the teacher's absence to ensure that students do not fall behind.

Job responsibilities:
- Use specialised teaching and curriculums to support each individual students
- Support students who are falling behind in their work, including those who have been absent
- Provide advice to assist students' health, hygiene, social and emotional needs.
- Provide feedback to students and teachers in regards to what went well and what could be better
- Work with students on a one to one basis or in group sessions
- Provide personal care
- Help students to manage their behaviour and approach for their triggers to learning
- Provide cover for teacher's absence, following lesson plans provided

Key skills:
- Must be happy to support students in KS1 - College Level
- Must have experience in SEN, Education, Nursing or Care roles
- Must have Hoisting and Personal care qualifications
- Own means of transport is desirable
