Understanding the needs of students with Autism and speech and language needs will be the main focus of your day. In addition, with your support, you will ensure that each student can participate in lessons, including learning a form of sign language such as Makaton.

Job responsibilities:
- To ensure that each student can develop their skills and knowledge in each subject
- To provide support to the main teacher in the classroom and for outdoor activities
- To attend meetings and extra training days
- To participate in all activities throughout the day
- To be flexible to work with KS1- College level students
- To ensure that the school ethos is pursued throughout each lesson

Key Skills:
- Must have experience working alongside SEN, in an Education or Care role
- Must have own means of transport
- Must be open to learning new skills
